Sara Anne Hook, M.L.S., M.B.A., J.D., M.F.A., is Professor Emerita at Indiana University, having retired after 37 years as a faculty member and associate dean. She graduated with her MFA in Creative Writing (poetry) from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2023. She takes courses in fine art, primarily drawing, at the Indianapolis Art Center and through Smithsonian Associates. Professor Hook belongs to the Sumi-e Society of America, the Botanical Society of America (BSA) and Indiana Wildlife Artists and studies cello with Marjorie Hanna. She holds an online certificate in Botanical Illustration from Cornell University and is enrolled in the botanical illustration program at North Carolina Botanical Garden.
