I found out about this superlative art exhibit at the MFA Boston while reading the NY Times today. I wanted to share this with ASBA since it is such a rare event that the artwork of an historic, female botanical artist is being shown at a famous art museum in the US. This is the first solo exhibit dedicated to the Dutch artist, Rachel Ruysch (1664–1750). I am sure that many ASBA members would be interested in viewing the artwork.
