Dianne is a British artist who has worked as an illustrator since the 1980’s, having previously trained with Royal Albert in their design studio.
She paints native species as well as plants from her extensive travels and has work in the permanent collections at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and the Sydney Florilegium, the latter having been exhibited at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery.
Dianne holds a BSc Hons in Biology and spent some time working in education and as a consultant for a well known charity, in 2010 she developed her own business as a botanical art tutor, writing online courses, she has also taught in person classes internationally in Australia, Asia and the US.
Dianne’s preferred mediums are watercolour and graphite on paper and vellum, she also keeps in depth sketchbooks which enable her to combine her love for art and science.
